Hajj is a journey that no one can forget. It is an experience that fills your heart and refreshes your soul.
Its been 7 years to our blissful journey and the memories still bring tears. That first sight of Kaabah to Tawaaf e Widah, each and every thing is etched in our heart.
Hajj doesn’t start when you land in Saudia Arabia. Its starts on the day when you wish to perform it and start saying labbaik.
The minute your mind is made, each second that passes you come closer it. You count the days to it and every tick on the clock becomes unbearable.
From joining Hajj classes to packing suitcases everything matters. But what matters most is how we prepare our imman for this holy trip.

This book is our favorite companion for all our umrahs and hajj. It describes each aspect of worship in easy words so that everyone can understand.
It is an all in one book and contains both faraiz (obligation) and sunnah of performing hajj and umrah. Keep it with you as it very small and fits in your bag. You can read duas from it while performing tawaaf.Once you land in Saudia Arabia, remember that you are the choosens ones. Try to refrain from any sort of wrong doing and give as much sadqah as you can.
Everytime you enter masjid al-haram make intention for aitakaaf so that every second spent inside counts as a blessing. Moreover, in rush hours try to walk without pushing.
Especially when you reach Maqam e Ibrahim, you will find a lot of worshippers praying there. It is best to complete your tawaaf slowly without rushing and don’t block other peoples way.
Try to drink as much zam zam as you can and don’t spill or waste it. There are ablution stops inside the masjid so make wudhu there instead of using zam zam coolers.
When you are sitting in front of kaabah, gaze it with love as this is the most beautiful sight in the world. As you see it for the first time, you will forget all your worldy worries
When you see house of Allah for the first time, make dua for the whole ummah as that time is the best time for acceptance. Make prayer from the depth of your heart when you look at it.
For madinah we have no words. If you are landing in madinah or making the journey from makkah, say durood along the way.
Through out the journey recite as much salawat as you can. Moreover don’t forget the adaabs of entering masjid e nabwi. Refresh them in your mind before hand.
When entering masjid read dua of entering masjid and pray 2 rakat tahiyat ul masjid.
when the days of hajj begin and you start your journey with Mina, make sure no sins are committed from then on as the sins are multiplied during hajj.
Both the good deeds and bad have a multiple effects so ensure that your acts are pure. Clean your heart from all within and when you wear ihraam for hajj, make sure that all the obligations are fulfilled.
In the camps of mina check that your designated maktab is within the limits if mina. As you have to share rooms with multiple people try to do as much khidmat as you can.
in Hajj huqooq ul ibaad means a lot. Try to be the first one to serve others. Help the elderly and make way for everyone.
In the camps keep everything clean especially washroom. Make sure that nobody gets harmed even unintentionally by your acts.
On the ninth of dhul hajja when the day of arafat arrives, remember how our nabi did wuqoof here. Try to pray while standing as its afzal.
Holy prophet said:
There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.
After that when you stay the night at muzaldifa, remember it is an important time for spiritual reflection and devotion. Make the most of it.
Do get rest as you have along day ahead. Right after fajr you have to to get back to mina for jamarat.
Don’t forget to collect pebbles for rami. In Muzdalifah, there are no tents and facilities. It is dark so stay near your group.
As the sun rises on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, it brings with it blessings. On this day, Pilgrims perform the the first of three days Rami stoning of devil. You can also do it on the 4 day.
There are 3 Jamarat, and one the first day only one has to be stoned 7 times. one the second and third day all three of them are to be stoned. Carry extra pebbles with you as due to rush, you might lose some.
Try to go on fourth day as well as each stoning removes one kabeerah gunah (sin).
Once the sacrifice of animal has been done on the first day of rami, confirm it from your hajj leader and then take off your ihram and get clean.
After first day of jamarat you have to perform tawaaf and sai which are obligatory and then go back to mina for the next day rami.
Once the jamarat are stoned the last rukn of hajj ; Tawaafe e wida is left which completes the hajj. You cannot go back to your country without performing it
