7 Habits to Win the Day

A few month’s back I was feeling the same. Being engulfed by darkness and watch my life go in spirals had me down.
I was living a haphazard life and then I struck a gold mine. While procrastinating like always and scrolling through instagram, came across this blog on changing habits.
And it was mind blowing. Suddenly it all started making sense and the jigsaw puzzle of my life finally came together.
All it mentioned was 7 bullet points. But for me those bullets ripped my brain open and put some sense into it.
I am not a professional counsellor but believe me adopt these habits and you will thanks me later. Just add them in your life them one at a time and they will turn it around.
1. Keep a Journal
This may sound stupid but keeping a diary is essential. It helps organize our thoughts which are jumbled up.
From listing chores to pouring your heart, you can write anything. This journal will be your lifesaver if you allow it to become you best friend.
Instead of relying on humans to be by your side, and the getting ditched, try this method. Your diary will never judge you, leave you or drain you.
Begin with writing one paragraph and see whether it works. Trust me, you will feel a-thousand time lighter.
2. Take Cold Shower
We all love hot showers. But its the cold ones that open our thoughts.
Don’t take it ever day or else you will end up having flu. Take it once a week when you are feeling low.
Try this early in the morning and it will energize you for the whole day.
When the water droplets will hit your body, they will increase alertness and make you more aware. They will help enhance productivity and give you focus for the whole day.
I take cold showers thrice a week and they bring in such a positive impact. It may seem like a joke but try it yourself. Cold showers are powerful to the core!
3. Become an Early Riser
Most of of us think that the day starts at 9 o clock but when I say early it means FAJR.
Don't sleep after sunrise and feel your day turnaround. You will feel more productive and get more time.
The early morning hours are so serene and peaceful. You can plan out you day, exercise, enjoy nature and do breakfast.
There will be no distractions and you will get a lot of work done in short time.
4. Dive Deep in Your Religion
Having a spiritual retreat is always necessary. Don't do it once a month. do it daily.
Make effort to connect with Allah Almighty. And the best way to do is by reciting Quran.
In the early hours of morning, read it slowly along with Translation. You will feel each word enter your heart.
5. Strong Breakfast
Having a hearty breakfast fuels you up for the whole day. Never skip it.
Eat healthy breakfast like eggs and milk so that you can start your day on an energetic note
Most people miss it and feel unproductive and lethargic throughout the day.
If you wish to become efficient get a proper meal in the morning
6. Exercise and be Physically active
Exercise can be anything from Aerobics to Yoga. You don’t necessarily have to hit the gym.
Just ensure you take a mighty few minutes to appreciate your body. It is an amanah from Allah so keep it in shape.
Not only will it help you to get stronger and fit but also help improve mood.
